A little about me:

I have been a professional upright and electric bassist since 2016. I graduated with a Bachelor of Applied music from VCC in 2016 and began designing and building instruments shortly after, with some guidance and encouragement from retired luthier, Laurence Mollerup. In 2019, I began repairing guitars for Long and McQuade Surrey. I now split my time between LM and my own shop and customers. One of my core philosophies regarding instruments is that there is no “one size fits all” with regards to every thing from instrument design, to electronics, to setup parameters. Musicians play an infinitely variable range of styles and techniques, so instruments should, of course, vary just as much! I pride myself on my commitment to take as much time as it takes to optimize instruments for their owners. Sometimes the tweaks and back-and-forth when the customer picks up the instrument takes as long as the initial setup! Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries you may have.
